PORTLAND, Ore. – Defender Juan Mosquera scored his first goal of the year and the Portland Timbers played to a 1-1 draw with the San Jose Earthquakes Friday night at Providence Park. The result extended Portland's unbeaten run at home to nine matches (5-0-4) and continued their regular-season undefeated record against San Jose at Providence Park in the MLS era (14-0-5).
The Timbers (8-4-6, 30 pts) remain in fourth place in the Western Conference heading into the international break.
