This morning when the doors opened to the Timbers downtown team store the line of people outside trickled in, and not just to purchase Timbers merchandise. Today was the first day of the “We Are Timbers” fan photo shoot. Timbers fans of all ages visited the store to pose with axes and chainsaws—babies, businessmen, entire families, girls in tutus, even a dog.
All participants will be able to download their photos, already cropped and sized for upload to use as profile pictures on Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Flickr, Linkedin, wherever.
Thursday’s photo shoot was a clear success; over 200 fans visited the store to strike a “no pity” pose.
