MLS is back in action after a break from league play due to the World Cup, and that means the MLS Save of the Week award is back as well.
In Week 16, Though the Timbers may have lost to Sporting Kansas City, Portland goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts experienced no rust as he denied a point-blank shot from Soony Saad with a sparkling save. Be sure to vote for for Ricketts:
Goalkeepers representing Canadian teams are nominated with Vancouver's David Ousted, Montreal's Troy Perkins and Toronto's Joe Bendik are in the mix. The final is FC Dallas' Jaime Penedo.
Voting runs until 11:59 pm PT on Thursday and the winner is announced on Friday.
