The Portland Timbers kick off their 2022 preseason presented by Old Trapper Beef Jerky today at the Timbers Training Center. After opening training camp in Portland this week, the Timbers will travel to Tucson, Ariz. on Friday, Jan. 21 to continue their preseason. In Tucson, the team will square off against Seattle Sounders FC as part of the Desert Showcase on Wednesday, Jan. 26, at Kino North Stadium; kickoff is set for 6 p.m. (Pacific). The Timbers will also take on Sporting Kansas City on Thursday, Feb. 3, at Phoenix Rising FC Soccer Complex; kickoff is set for 10 a.m. (Pacific).
The team is set to return to Portland on Feb. 3 and continue preparations for the regular season, which begins on Feb. 26 with a home match against the New England Revolution.
