Timbers goalkeeper Jake Gleeson undergoes successful surgery to repair bilateral tibial stress fractures

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Timbers today announced that goalkeeper Jake Gleeson has undergone successful surgery to repair bilateral tibial stress fractures. The procedure was performed by Timbers chief medical officer Dr. Richard H. Edelson at Sports Medicine Oregon.


Gleeson, who is expected to be out approximately two months, will conduct his rehabilitation with the Timbers sports medicine staff at Providence Park and at the Providence Sports Care Center.
