Mora helped the Timbers earn three points on the road against Houston Dynamo FC when he scored a penalty kick to secure the win at BBVA Stadium, 2-0. The Santiago, Chile native also recorded a goal and an assist in Portland’s 2-0 victory over Seattle Sounders FC on Aug. 29. This season, Mora has tallied a team-leading nine goals and four assists, recording new career bests with the Timbers. Mora has started in 13 of 18 appearances in his 2021 campaign and has logged 26 starts in 37 appearances across two seasons for Portland. This is Mora’s third week in MLS Team of the Week (Week 6, 14, 23) and sixth overall when he appeared in the bench three times (Week 17, 20, 22).

The Timbers recorded their second consecutive win on the road last week in a 2-0 shutout against Houston on Sept. 3. The win was Clark’s second shutout in the last two matches on the road including a victory at Lumen Field against Seattle. Clark has made 64 appearances across four seasons with the Timbers, 12 of which came in his 2021 campaign. This is Clark’s second week in MLS Team of the Week (Week 22, 23).

Timbers will play their final match of a five-game road trip against the Vancouver Whitecaps on Friday, Sept. 10, at BC Place. The match kicks off at 7 p.m. (Pacific) and will feature a local broadcast on FOX 12 PLUS with radio broadcasts on 750 The Game (English) and La GranD 1150AM/93.5 FM (Spanish).
