PORTLAND, Ore. — Portland Thorns FC, in partnership with Gameday Merchandising and Nike, will open a new official team store at Providence Park located in the southeast corner of the stadium adjacent to the Providence Sports Care Center, it was announced today.
The Thorns FC team store will open to the general public on Saturday, April 26, at 11 a.m. (Pacific), the same day as Portland’s regular-season, home-opening match against FC Kansas City, which begins at 7 p.m. The National Women’s Soccer League championship trophy, which Thorns FC won last year during the league’s inaugural season, will be on display for photo opportunities with fans at the team store on Saturday.
Thorns season ticket holders will be allowed the first chance to shop at the new team store during a special opening on Friday, April 25, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The NWSL championship trophy will also be on-site for fans to take pictures with in advance of Saturday’s grand opening to the public.
The store will be open for regular business hours Tuesday-Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and will close four hours prior to kickoff for Thorns FC and Timbers home matches. During daily hours, the entrance to the store is located inside the Providence Sports Care Center lobby. During Thorns FC and Timbers matches, the Thorns FC team store will be open only to ticketed patrons.
