#StatMan Three | Timbers secure 100th win as an MLS club

In their last midweek match of the 2018 season, the Portland Timbers defeated Columbus Crew SC, 3-2, at Providence Park. Here are three key #StatMan takeaways from #PORvCLB. 


100 Tonight's victory was the 100th regular-season win for the Timbers in MLS play. The Timbers are the first post-2010 expansion team to reach the 100-win mark, beating both Vancouver Whitecaps FC (2011 expansion team) and the Philadelphia Union (2010 expansion team). 


14 With his goal near the end of the first half, Andy Polo became the 14th different player to score for the Timbers this season. Polo also became the first Peruvian player to ever score a goal for the Timbers in all eras of the club (since 1975). 


9 On Portland's first goal of the match, Sebastián Blanco delivered the secondary assist for his ninth assist of the season. Blanco is the second Timbers player to have nine or more assists in a single MLS season, joining Diego Valeri
