The Portland Timbers played Club América to a thrilling 1-1 draw at Providence Park on Wednesday night in the club's first ever match in the quarterfinal round of the Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League. Here are three key #StatMan takeaways from the match. 


97 Forward Felipe Mora's goal came in the 97th minute to deliver Portland the tie on the final kick of the match. Mora's goal is the latest game-tying goal the Timbers have ever scored in regulation in the club's MLS era. 


5 Conceding just a penalty kick, goalkeeper Jeff Attinella delivered five saves in the match. Attinella was playing in the third Champions League match of his career, having played two matches for Real Salt Lake against Santa Tecla in 2015. 


41 There were 41 fouls called in the match with the Timbers whistled for one more than América. The match also featured 10 yellow cards.
