The Portland Timbers won the 2020 MLS is Back Tournament Final presented by Wells Fargo with a 2-1 victory over Orlando City SC, Tuesday night. Here are three key #StatMan takeaways from the historic victory.

3 The victory qualifies the Timbers for the Concacaf Champions League for the third time in club history. It is the second time the club has won a competitive final, along with the 2015 MLS Cup.

6 For the sixth time as a Timbers player, defender Larrys Mabiala scored in a match with a header. Mabiala has the most goals by a defender in club history with eight.

2 Defender Dario Zuparic scored his first career goal for the Timbers with the game-winner. It is the second time Zuparic has scored a goal in a competitive final as a professional, having also scored for HNK Rijeka in their 3-1 win in the 2017 Croatian Football Cup Final.
