#StatMan Three | Timbers achieve longest MLS regular-season win streak in club history

A Samuel Armenteros wonderstrike was the difference as the Portland Timbers beat Los Angeles FC 2-1 Saturday afternoon at Providence Park. Here are three key #StatMan takeaways from #PORvLAFC.


5 The Timbers are now on their longest win streak since becoming an MLS club in 2011. The club has also won 10 consecutive regular-season matches at Providence Park dating back to the end of the 2017 season, the second-longest home win streak in MLS history. 


3 For the third consecutive match, the Timbers scored a game-winning goal in the final 10 minutes of a match. Prior to the three-game streak, Portland had gone 58 games without scoring a game-winning goal that late in a match. 


404 While goalkeeper Jeff Attinella's shutout streak came to an end in the match, he set a club record for longest shutout streak in the team's MLS era at 404 minutes. Attinella has won all four of his starts this season.
