In an away match at Providence Park, the Portland Timbers defeated Vancouver Whitecaps FC, 1-0, Sunday night. Here are three key #StatMan takeaways from #VANvPOR. 


4Felipe Mora delivered his fourth goal of the season with a headed goal. The Chilean forward is the fifth Timbers player to have four or more goals in all competitions this year. 


5 Portland's goal came in the fifth minute and was the earliest goal scored by the Timbers in 2020. The Timbers have scored six goals in the first 15 minutes of a match this regular season, which is tied for the most in MLS this season with Chicago Fire FC. 


0 For the second consecutive match, Portland's defense delivered a clean sheet. The Timbers have notched consecutive shutouts in consecutive games for this first time since June 30-July 7, 2019.
