#StatMan Three | David Guzmán now tied for team lead in assists

In the first-ever matchup between the Portland Timbers and Atlanta United FC, a second-half goal for each team made for a 1-1 draw on Sunday at Providence Park. Here are three #StatMan takeaways from the match. 


4 Midfielder David Guzmán delivered his fourth assist of the season, tying him with Diego Valeri for the club lead. It was Guzman's second assist directly from a set piece, which is tied for the most by any MLS player this season. Guzmán also led both teams with four chances created.


3 Defender Liam Ridgewell notched his first goal of the season on three shot attempts. Ridgewell's three shots tie an MLS career high for the Portland defender. 


100 The match was the MLS match No. 100 for forward Fanendo Adi, becoming the sixth Timbers player to play in 100 MLS matches for the club. Adi joins Darlington Nagbe, Diego Chara, Jack Jewsbury, Rodney Wallace, and Valeri who have hit the century mark for Portland.
