The Portland Timbers lost to the LA Galaxy 1-0 Wednesday night in the 2016 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Round of 16. Here are three #StatMan takeaways from the match. 


94% In his first appearance with the club since May 22 following his time with the U.S. Men's National Team, midfielder Darlington Nagbe finished the match with 49 successful passes to just three unsuccessful for a 94 percent completion rate.

21 Rookie goalkeeper Wade Hamilton made his first team debut in the match. The 21-year-old is the second youngest goalkeeper to play for the club in the MLS era behind only Jake Gleeson, who made his Timbers debut as a 20-year-old in 2011.
