#Statman Three | Attinella and Timbers shutout LAFC at home for the first time in the club's history

Playing at Banc of California Stadium for the first time, the Portland Timbers secured a 0-0 draw against Los Angeles FC. Here are three key #StatMan takeaways from the match. 


0 Despite playing the highest-scoring team in MLS, the Timbers secured a shutout against LAFC. The clean sheet is the fifth shutout this season for the team and goalkeeper Jeff Attinella while LAFC was shutout at home for the first time in the club’s history. 


5 Portland came out at the start on the attack, registering five shots on target in the first half, which is the second-most the club has had since the beginning of last season. For the match, Sebastián Blanco led the way, forcing three saves. 


14 The result extends Portland's unbeaten streak in all competitions to 14, which ties for the second-longest unbeaten streak in the team's all-era club history. The streak is also the longest by an MLS club since the New York Red Bull's 16-game, all-competition streak in 2016.
