Volunteer opportunity: Stand Together to take part in SOLVE's Dec. 18 community cleanup

Stand Together, the community impact arm of the Portland Timbers and Thorns organization, will be part of SOLVE's downtown Portland cleanup event on Friday, December 18, 2020.

SOLVE, founded in 1969, is dedicated to "[restoring] and [preserving] Oregon’s environment by mobilizing the power of volunteers and partners with the generosity of donors."



The Portland Business Alliance and Portland Lodging Alliance and partnering with SOLVE on the Dec. 18 event, which will begin at four different downtown locations:


  • SW 18th & Morrison St. - Providence Park 
  • SW Broadway & Oak St. - The Benson Hotel
  • SW Park and SW Jefferson - South Park Blocks 
  • Naito Parkway & SW Madison - Waterfront Park


All volunteers will be asked to adhere to COVID-19 safety guidelines, which include social distancing and mandatory mask-wearing.
