The Portland Timbers welcome the LA Galaxy to Providence Park Wednesday night (7pm PT, ESPN) with a chance to clinch a playoff spot into the Audi 2020 MLS Cup Playoffs. Here are the scenarios to qualify:


Portland will clinch a berth in the Audi 2020 MLS Cup Playoffs if:


  • Portland win or tie vs. LA Galaxy
  • – OR –
  • San Jose-Salt Lake tie
