Kevin Kelsy earns a brace as Timbers explode for five goals on the road against rival Sounders
SEATTLE – Kevin Kelsy scored a brace and the Portland Timbers defeated Seattle Sounders FC 5-1 Thursday evening on the road at Lumen Field.
Kamal Miller, Cole Bassett and Alexander Aravena all tallied for Portland while David Da Costa contributed two assists along with Brandon Bye and Jimer Fory who each earned assists as well.
The game set a club record for most goals scored for Portland at Lumen Field was the largest margin of victory for a Timbers match at Seattle in the team's MLS history.
