Antony, Kevin Kelsy score goals, Portland extends home unbeaten streak to seventh straight match
PORTLAND, Ore. – On a festive AAPI Night at Providence Park, Antony and Kevin Kelsy each scored second-half goals to lift the Portland Timbers to a 2-1 comeback victory over a 10-man Colorado Rapids side on Wednesday night.
For Antony, the goal marked his sixth in six all-time games against the Rapids while David Da Costa picked up an assist to put him in a tie for the MLS lead. Additionally, with Kelsy's game-winning tally this evening, he became the only player aged 20 or younger this season to score at least three game-winning goals in regular-season MLS action.
The Timbers (7-4-5, 26 pts) are in fifth place in the Western Conference and unbeaten at home in seven straight matches (4-0-3).
