For the third time in 2020, the Portland Timbers will take on the LA Galaxy when the two clubs meet on Wednesday  at Dignity Health Sports Park (7:30pm PT, ROOT SPORTS). Here are five numbers to know for #PORvLA in the latest Quick Strikes.


3Including the victories in the MLS is Back Tournament knockout stages, Portland is on a three-game winning streak for the third time in 2020. The only other MLS team with multiple three-game winning streaks this year is Toronto FC. 


2.4The Timbers have scored 12 goals in their five road matches this season for an average of 2.4 goals a match. That output leads the league in goals per away match with only one other team averaging more than two goals per away match (Colorado Rapids – 2.2)


35With two consecutive shutouts, goalkeeper Steve Clark has 35 shutouts for his MLS career. Clark is tied with Andre Blake for the 28th-most shutouts in MLS history. 


71Jeremy Ebobisse has played in 71 consecutive matches in all competitions for the club. If the 23-year-old plays against the Galaxy, he will tie the club record for most consecutive matches played in all competitions in the club's 45-year history. 


5X4In the club's last match, forward Felipe Mora scored his fourth goal of the season. Mora is the fifth different player with four or more goals in all competitions this season.
