PORTLAND, Ore. — The Portland Timbers and Portland Thorns FC, in partnership with Gameday Merchandising, will open a new official team store at Pioneer Place located in downtown Portland at 8 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 29, it was announced today.
Conveniently located on the third floor inside Pioneer Place at 700 SW 5th Ave., the downtown team store is scheduled to remain open through March 2014 and will offer an assortment of Timbers and Thorns FC merchandise, including official jerseys, casual wear, hats, scarves and plenty more.
The store’s Black Friday Grand Opening at 8 a.m. on Nov. 29 will feature an appearance by Timber Joey, door-busters and specials throughout the day.
The store will keep normal mall hours – Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Holiday hours at Pioneer Place may vary.
Public parking is available adjacent to the shopping center at SmartPark locations on 3rd Ave. and Alder St., and 4th Ave. and Yamhill St. Metered street parking is also available. Additionally, its location next to the red, blue, green and yellow TriMet MAX lines makes it easily accessible from all parts of the Portland metro area.
The downtown location will serve as a second team store in conjunction with the flagship adidas Timbers Team Store at JELD-WEN Field. The stadium location will remain open for regular business hours during the holiday season.
