Donovan Ricketts is becoming quite familiar with the Save of the Week honors.
Ricketts claimed the Week 5 award and his second this season for his stop on Shane O'Neill in the Portland Timbers' 2-2 draw with the Colorado Rapids last Saturday. Following a corner kick in the second half, Ricketts made a jaw-dropping block when he managed to see through a herd of bodies before soaring into the air to deny O'Neill's potent shot.
The save by the Timbers goalkeeper claimed half of the votes this week. Ricketts also won the Week 2 award.
