SKC came into JELD-WEN Field undefeated and left with their first loss of the season, the lone strike coming via a Kris Boyd cross that turned into an own goal. While it may not have been pretty, it was a gritty win and some say the miscommunication that led to the goal was due to the always loud Timbers Army. |

This was the match that started the run to the Cascadia Cup. There was tifo, there was a textbook cornerkick goal from Horst, and a great goal from Boyd. A truly memorable afternoon that ended with a 2-1 victory for the good guys. |
