MLS announces 2019 Generation adidas class

2019 MLS Combine, 12.14.18

With the MLS Player Combine beginning Friday at Orlando City Stadium, the league announced the signing of seven collegiate standouts to the 2019 Generation adidas class:

Also joining the Combine is 2019 Caribbean Combine MVP Peter-Lee Vassell, a midfielder from Jamaica who has played for Jamaica’s National Team. MLS also announced University of Denver forward Andre Shinyashiki has been signed to a senior contract with Major League Soccer.


The full list of Combine invitees can be found here. The invited players have been divided into four teams: Team Copa, Team X, Team Predator and Team Nemeziz. You can check out the games on MLS's YouTubeFacebook and Periscope pages beginning this Saturday with MLSsoccer.com's David Gass and Bobby Warshaw on the call for all of the games at the Combine, with Team Copa vs. Team Nemeziz kicking things off at 9:30 am PT, followed by Team Predator vs. Team X at 11:45 am PT.



On Wednesday, the second matchday will kick off, with a tournament-style conclusion to the proceedings. The winning teams of Saturday's matches will square off at 7 am PT, while the other two teams will wrap up the game action with their meeting at 9:15 am PT.



The 2019 MLS SuperDraft, takes place in Chicago on Jan. 11 at 10 a.m. PT on January 11 at Chicago’s McCormick Place.
