The Portland Timbers head east for the first match of a two-match road trip, taking on New York City FC at Yankee Stadium in New York. Kickoff is 2:30pm PT on ROOT SPORTS.
ROOT SPORTS will broadcast the game featuring Jake Zivin (play-by-play), Ross Smith (analyst), and Samantha Yarock (sideline reporter).
