The Portland Timbers head east for the first match of a two-match road trip, taking on New York City FC at Yankee Stadium in New York. Kickoff is 2:30pm PT on ROOT SPORTS.



ROOT SPORTS will broadcast the game featuring Jake Zivin (play-by-play), Ross Smith (analyst), and Samantha Yarock (sideline reporter). ROOT SPORTS can be seen in Portland on channels Timbers games on channels 734 on Comcast, 687 on DirecTV, 426 on Dish Network and 576 on Frontier Fios. Check local listings for further details.


Keith Bleyer (play-by-play), Brett Jacobs (analyst), and Tom Kolker (host) will provide the radio call on KXL 101.1 FM.


The Timbers will be wearing their Primary Green and Gold kits for the match.
