HARRISON, NJ – The Portland Timbers lost 4-0 on the road to the New York Red Bulls Saturday night at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, NJ with goals coming for New York from Ben Miles, Bradley Wright-Phillips and a brace from Carlos Rivas.

80' - GOAL (NYRB) | Carlos Rivas made it 3-0 for New York when Vincent Bezecourt found him on his right. Rivas tucked the ball into the back post side netting.


90+3' - GOAL (NYRB) | Rivas scored his second goal of the game late in stoppage time to make it 4-0 for the Red Bulls.


The Timbers have a bye next weekend in MLS play before returning to action on the road against FC Dallas on Mar. 24 at Toyota Stadium (12:30pm PT, Univision).
