FRISCO, Texas – Behind goals from Fanendo Adi and Sebastian Blanco and two clutch saves from goalkeeper Jeff Attinella, the Portland Timbers fought to a 2-2 draw with Western Conference rival FC Dallas on Saturday night.

30' - GOAL - Portland. After midfielder Dairon Asprilla earned a free kick in the attacking third, fellow midfielder David Guzmán delivered a perfect free kick right onto the head of an unmarked Fanendo Adi who buried his shot past FC Dallas goalkeeper Jesse Gonzalez.

58' - SAVE. Goalkeeper Jeff Attinella made an acrobatic diving save of a hard shot by FC Dallas midfielder Kellyn Acosta.


61' - GOAL - Dallas. Dallas forward Maxi Urruti sent a curling shot into the upper left corner of the goal to level the score at 1-1.


71' - GOAL - Portland. After a sublime sequence of passes between Darlington Nagbe, second-half substitute Darren Mattocks, and Alvas Powell, midfielder Sebastian Blanco got on the end of Powell's pass into the box after a deflection from Fanendo Adi. Blanco controlled the ball with his right foot before calmly finishing it with his left past Gonzalez to put the Timbers back up 2-1.

80' - GOAL - Dallas. FC Dallas equalized the match at 2-2 after defender Hernán Grana's cross into the box found the boot of forward Tesho Akindele, who coolly finished past Timbers goalkeeper Jeff Attinella.


85' - SAVE. Attinella reads Kellyn Acosta's powerful free kick the whole way, diving to his right to preserve the 2-2 scoreline.

The Portland Timbers will once again hit the road next weekend as they take on the San Jose Earthquakes at Avaya Stadium on May 6 (7:30p.m. PT, KPDX).
