PORTLAND, Ore. – Major League Soccer today announced that kickoff for the Portland Timbers’ home match at Providence Park against the Colorado Rapids on Sunday, Oct. 16, has been moved to 2 p.m. (Pacific).

Originally set for 4 p.m. (Pacific), Portland’s match against Colorado is one of 10 fixtures that was rescheduled on Oct. 16, with nine additional intraconference games taking place in the second-to-last weekend of regular-season action in MLS in 2016. As part of the change, all five Western Conference matches will begin at 2 p.m. (Pacific), with the Eastern Conference contests scheduled to begin at 12 noon (Pacific).

The contest against the Rapids will mark the third and final regular-season match between Portland and Colorado this season, with both teams set to face each other at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park on Saturday, Oct. 1.
