For Portland Timbers midfielder Diego Valeri, expertly running the show in the midfield is nothing new. Having his game-worn kit displayed in a place of honor on The Dan Patrick Show, however is.
Last week, Dan Patrick brought his crew out for a special edition show at 750 The Game as well as an opportunity to witness a Timbers game in person. Producer Paul Pabst toured the field and did an episode of The Backcut, Fritzy became a new Jack Jewsbury fan and Valeri served up an absolute golazo of a game-winning strike in a 2-1 win over the Rapids mere yards from where Dan and the Danettes sat.
To commemorate the evening, Valeri's kit was sent to Dan and it now sits proudly in the show ManCave. It's safe to say, DP Show is #RCTID.
