We asked Linda a few questions after the match.
What was your first memory of/first match supporting the Timbers?
"You ask a lot to remember a first back in 2011 or earlier! We remember most the players that stood out in my mind . . . Jack Jewsbury (still miss seeing him on the field), Darlington Nagbe, and Diego Chara, who were all added to the roster when we joined MLS."
What was your favorite moment of the match tonight?
"How delighted Powell and Blanco were with their goals."
Who would you nominate as Player of the Match?
"The entire team!"
What is your prediction for the next MLS match – Timbers vs Vancouver Whitecaps?
"We will win . . . I hope!"
What else should we know about your Timbers fandom?
"We so enjoy the stadium atmosphere during games. We are crazy about soccer, but especially Portland Timbers soccer!"
