With just over a week to go before the Portland Timbers' 2014 MLS season opener against the Philadelphia Union (7:30pm PT, ROOT SPORTS), head coach Caleb Porter has been busy getting the team focused on the upcoming campaign.
Saying last week after training that preseason is over, Porter has been using this week's Rose City Invitational matches against the San Jose Earthquakes, Portmore United, and Vancouver Whitecaps as an opportunity to create a schedule and rhythm more akin to what the team will face during the regular season.
To that end, Porter and his coaching staff prepared a very detailed video analysis session ahead of Sunday's first RCI game against the Quakes.
