2014 Stand Together Week Day Two: Hammers, Hard Hats and Changing Lives

PORTLAND, Ore. - Looking back on Day 2 of Stand Together Week, you'll notice some themes: hammers, hard hats and working together to help change lives. The five projects today ranged from packaging food for the Oregon Food Bank to helping build homes with Habitat for Humanity to doing crafts alongside people with special needs at Volunteers of America.

And while Portland Thorns FC had the day off from training, head coach Paul Riley, assistant coach Michael Demakis and several players put in work around the community.
